Indian American Youth Organization

Established in year 2008, Indian American Youth Organization (IAYO) is a not for profit organization for young Indian Americans. To identify and honor young Indian achievers from Midwest, IAYO is very pleased to organize its first ever “Achievers Award 2009” night. The award night will be organized at India House Banquet, Schaumburg, IL on August 2, 2009. TV Asia will televise the Award night for one hour show, few weeks after the event. The Popular TV Star Mouli Dave (ZEE TV SA RE GA MA fame) will be performing live during this formal Award night.

IAYO invites nominations for the Achievers Award 2009 in the following categories:

1. Academic Excellence Award: In this category, we will recognize the following (Please see the Nomination form for details):  

• Ivy League Scholars
• High School Achievers
• Highest SAT/ACT Scorers
• Spelling Bee Competition Winners

2. Cultural Excellence Award: For cultural Award, Dancing and Singing completion will be organized on July 23rd at India House, Schaumburg for Kids, Junior and Senior for Classical, Bollywood, Western dances and singing. Please see the Competition form for the details.

3. Sports Excellence Award:  If you have achieved any recognition in any sport at School, State or national level, you could be the winner of Sports Excellence Award. Please see the ‘Sports Excellent Award Nomination Form’ for the details.
